Mumbai Protests Update – Week 3

On Monday May 11th  a protest demonstration was held in  Chattarpati shivaji terminus  Mumbai just outside the railway station from 5 30 PM onwards. Till about 6.30pm . More than twenty  activists representing a fairly wide spectrum – feminists, students, lawyers, trade union workers, journalists, artistes, young, old – passionately participated. Most were donning a specially designed T-shirt figuring Binayak in prison van and with slogans calling for his release and in defence of the right to dissent superscribed.

Slogans were raised. Flyers, in Hindi and English, distributed.  More than 100 Signatures, calling for his immediate release, were collected.

This was the third  in the series following one the previous  ones in Dadar and Churchgate station.

The programme continues till Dr. Sen’s release.
