Kolkata Convention for Release of Dr Binayak Sen

A convention demanding immediate release of Dr. Binayak Sen will be held on May 14, 2008 at 5 p.m. at Medical College General Common Room, in the Administrative Block. The convention is being organised jointly by Medical College Democratic Students’ Association and Shramajib Swasthya Udyog.

Anusuya Sen, Binayakda’s mother, will attend the convention. Health professionals and human rights activists are likely to attend the convention in large number.
